Black Flag is an American band formed in 1976 in Hermosa Beach, CA by guitarist, primary songwriter, and sole continuous member Greg Ginn. Their discography includes seven studio albums and two live albums. The band has released all of their material on Ginn’s independent label, SST Records beginning with 1981’s Damaged. Vocalist, Mike Vallely, first sang with the band as a guest vocalist in 2003, before becoming the band’s fifth vocalist and touring with the band in 2014.
The Linecutters Since 2013, The Linecutters have been infecting the Phoenix area with their ska/punk infused sound one show at a time. The three-piece band from the east valley is made up of Jett Smith, 20, on bass and vocals, Marceliano Festa, 20, on guitar and vocals, and Kaz McClain, 19, on drums which makes their combined age just a tad older than the age of the youngest member of label mates, Exterminators. The band put out their first EP, Pirates of Suburbia, a few months after they were formed, which Slope Records released as a 7” in March 2017 and released their debut full-length LP “Anthill” on May 20th, recorded in Phoenix with none other than Exterminator/Meat Puppet Cris Kirkwood handling production duties at the end of 2016.
Slope Records could not be more excited about the talent The Linecutters bring to the label. The band has definitely paid some dues since their inception and has shared stages with the likes of Subhumans (UK), Choking Victim, and Ramshackle Glory.”
