2015 was a great year for Josh Merritt. After a successful mid-west tour with the band Osiella, and a very busy southern campaign, things are only beginning to pick up for this young entertainer.
A native of Owensboro, KY, the genuine sense of Josh Merritt grabs you the moment he starts to perform. This very powerful singer/songwriter has been described as a head turner and a performance stand-out by his peers and people from all over the mid-west. His Southern Hospitality is immediately absorbed through the music that he makes and it’s no wonder why his name is being heard more and more as he makes his way up the ladder of success.
With a Variety of influences ranging from bluegrass and traditional country to blues, rock and even hip-hop, Merritt puts on a diverse show that leaves you wanting more. He is steadily building a hefty Resume working and performing with such artist as Brasher/Bogue, Sonia Leigh, LoCash Cowboys, Colt Ford, Charlie Daniels, and Hank Williams Jr.

The Wrong Omar
Joey Shaheen aka: “The Wrong Omar” has been touring the US and Canada, singing his “sidewalk confessionals of bad choices” with a tongue-in-cheek curmudgeon persona for old souls of all ages. His solo acoustic show follows a string of radio and TV performances throughout the Southeast and Mid-West. Soulful work on the piano leads to a set of guitar/harp and foot tambo songs that can be best described as: “crying tears of joy while making love”. You might also laugh yourself silly with some of his stories. Be warned: you may walk away with these tunes stuck in your head, and you will be encouraged to sing along at times too.
